Are you passionate about supporting family diversity and fighting discrimination against unmarried people? Would you like to join like-minded activists in charting the future of the Alternatives to Marriage Project, and ensuring its success? AtMP is accepting applications from prospective new board members on an ongoing basis and welcomes interested candidates to fill out our application form. We are seeking board members who:
Our expectation is that board members will participate in all meetings (with reasonable exceptions), ideally in person but by telephone if that is not possible. Board members are elected for a two year term. Rewards of Serving on the Board You will be playing a direct role in creating a world where family diversity is recognized and valued. You will have the satisfaction of working on behalf of a cause you believe in. You will be part of something that will continue to grow, attract more interest, and make a difference. You will get to know other wonderful people who have a commitment to this issue. Your name will be included in our annual report, announced in the Alternatives to Marriage update, and included in other materials.
